These lead acid batteries are designed to give long life and for repeated deep cycling, they have a world-wide reputation for use in wind/solar systems.

They are suitable for powering large loads over a long period of time eg. inverters. With bolt on terminals for ease of interconnection.

Self Discharge: 5-10% per month.

Cycle Life: 2000+ cycles to 20% DOD; 1000 cycles to 50% DOD; 800 cycles to 80% DOD.

Elecsol Carbon Fibre Batteries

The carbon fibre technology ensures the battery can be deeply discharged without permanent damage resulting. Carbon fibres allow acid to flow deeper into the plates forming a conductive network within the grid preventing the build up of lead sulphation. 5 year warranty for solar applications. Tapered post terminals.

Self Discharge: 2.5% per month.

Cycle Life: 2500+ cycles to 20% DOD; 1000 cycles to 50% DOD; 300 cycles to 80% DOD.

Sonnenschein Solar Block Sealed Batteries

These sealed deep cycle batteries use a Gel electrolyte. They are spill-proof, leak-proof, never require watering, and don’t gas during normal charging. They can be mounted inside equipment enclosures. Often used in remote, unattended power systems. Due to their sealed nature it is very important to prevent overcharge & over-discharge. Tapered post terminals.

Self Discharge: 1-3% per month

Cycle Life: 4000+ cycles to 20% DOD; 2000 cycles to 50% DOD; 1000 cycles to 80% DOD

Rolls 5000 Series

These heavy duty batteries are designed for unsurpassed repeated deep cycling service in renewable energy applications. Thick plate design with high density active material and increased liquid reserve.

Several 2V cells are pre-assembled together to give higher voltage blocks. These in turn are connected to form a battery bank with appropriate voltage and capacity. Unique battery design features dual container construction. Removable cells are fitted with a durable case giving double protection against breakage or leakage. Easy on-site assembly with no special tools or skills requires. Supplied fully charged with inter-connectors.

Self Discharge: ~2-3% per month.

Cycle Life: 3000 cycles to 50%, 2000 cycles to 80% DOD;
