Circuit Protection

The fitting of adequate fuses or circuit protection in all DC circuits is essential. These must be big enough to carry the maximum expected current, but not over-sized for the current rating of wire used. For more information see Fuses and Circuit protection

In-line fuses

In-line fuseholder with screw terminals (rated 10A). Takes 1.25" glass fuses. Ideal for basic protection of small DC circuits.

These allow easy circuit isolation by pulling out the fuse together with the protective lid of the fuse carrier.

Battery/Inverter Fuses

High capacity fuses and carriers rated at up to 600VDC suitable for protection of cables to inverters.

Fuse carrier has pull out handle enabling use as an isolator.

2 poles of the 3-pole carrier carrier can be used to fuse and isolate both positive and negative at the same time, all in the same device.
