Spectra Lite Modules

 

Spectra Lite ModulesPolycrystalline cells.

 

These lightweight PV panels use no glass in their construction. They are particularly useful for 12V battery charging on expeditions, vehicles, marine applications, and vandal prone installations. Weatherproof and rugged: cells are encapsulated between sheets of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and fibreglass. Modules may be mounted using four grommet finished holes or panels can be glued into position. Output is via potted junction box with built-in blocking diode and 3m integral cable.

Monocrystalline cells.

SunPower’s unique back-contact monocrystalline cells with efficiency of up to 21.5% give exceptional low light performance and high peak current to maximise yearly charging performance. High performance even during high temperature operation and in low light conditions maximise yearly energy harvest. Weatherproof and rugged with sturdy black anodised aluminium frame.

Modules use junction boxes with MultiContact polarised connectors on flying leads. These can be removed if preferred to allow connection of two single core (+ & -) cables.

These 12V panels are ideal for a wide range of off-grid applications where a high battery charging current from a small footprint is desirable.

Modules are designed for use in 12V systems only.

In systems with higher voltages DC positive grounding is required.

Transformer inverters can be used for grid connected provided the DC positive is grounded

 

 

 

SunPower SPR-210 moduleSPR-210

 

This 72 cell module is designed for use in grid-connect systems where the highest module efficiency and energy delivery is critical and delivers extremely high power density with a module efficiency close to 17%.

For system voltages up to 600VDC. Transformer inverters with DC positive grounding should be used. (see SMA Grounding Kit SB-GKITP prices )
