It is recommended that Inverters carry a sign stating "Inverter - isolate a.c. and d.c. before carrying out work"
Ideally a label stating "not to block ventilation" will be placed next to the inverter to ensure the customer does not block the vents of the inverter, this can cause a loss in system performance as the inverter will de-rate when it reaches its maximum operating temperature.
