The Solmetric SunEye 210 combines a digital camera and calibrated fisheye lens with electronic tilt and compass sensors to provide easy, accurate measurements with instant feedback. Integrated GPS automatically inputs solar radiation data as well.
Live survey mode allows you to view annual sunpaths as you walk the site. Data is automatically stored for later review, design & inclusion in reports.
Use the Solmetric SunEye to produce the MCS sunpath
To comply with MCS standards all PV installers are required to produce a shade analysis as part of their initial site survey. This analysis must also be evident as a saved document at the point of the MCS audit.
The purpose of the MCS shade analysis is to help the end customer determine the estimated yield of a PV array in a more accurate way.
The Solmetric SunEye includes software to enable the MCS shade diagram to be produced quickly, easily, safely and accurately.
This gives installers who use it the opportunity to stand out by providing a professional accurate shade analysis report.
